www.retro-riders.com has changed servers as requested by my hosting company.
The website is now on a much FASTER Australian webserver, that offers local aussie visitors much quicker access to menus & pictures etc.

I'm still secretly playing with new designs and info for the Re-Launch, stay tuned ;-)

Dec 2006 thru to Sep 2007

The website (Online) hasn't changed for sometime.
However, i've been re-developing the site (at home) plus many more features & oldschool info.

Due to Re-Launch this site sometime late '07 or new year '08.

Nov 2006

Added an oldschool "Racers Listing".
Several listings of 1980's racers, categorised by each state.
A tribute to ALL riders from back in the day ;-)

Added an oldschool "Hall Of FAME" menu item.
This is where you can see pics of the popular riders back in the 80's.

Changed to "Events & Meets" menu to include several event 'pages'

Oct 2006 -

Divided the "museum" into 2 parts:
1) AUSSIE oldschool BMX museum
2) General (non-Aussie) oldschool BMX museum

This helps to browse & research the Aussie items without having to navigate through 1,000's of the USA stuff !
It also helps me maintain the 2 museums a lot easier now ;-)

Sep 2006 - Added 7 Items into the MUSEUM . . .

Aug 2006 - Added 73 Items into the MUSEUM . . .

Jun 2006 - Added 56 Items into the MUSEUM . . .

MAY 2006 - Added 142 Items into the MUSEUM . . .

Menu Changes ...
1) REMOVED Message Forums/Threads, due to lack of users interest.
2) REMOVED "Live BMX Chatroom", due to lack of users interest.

MAR 2006 - Added 32 Items into the MUSEUM . . .

DEC 2005 - Added 44 Items into the MUSEUM . . .

Altered MUSEUM thumbnails pics.
The Thumbnail pics in the Museum (left side) have been altered to be 3 columns wide
in most of the areas.
This now allows a LOT less scrolling of the parts up'n'down ;-)

Following on from the recent "museum" changes, I've re-contructed the museum once again!
This time it's even easier (& quicker) to navigate thru the parts listings.

You'll see that parts categories are listed (& selected) in the RIGHT SIDE screen, while the parts are listed
on the LEFT SIDE screen for you to scroll thru all the bits'n'pieces.
When you click on a thumnail picture, the RIGHT SIDE will become the large size picture....

The "Return to Museum" option is in the scrolling LEFT side, at both top & bottom of the thumnail listings.
The "Return to Retro-Riders Home" option is in the RIGHT side (museum categories), at top of the display

AUG to SEP 2005 - Museum Alterations !.
After a long break from site-maintenance, i've decided to change the museum around.

I've changed it so you can browse by "Part Type" (seats, brakes, hubs etc) instead of searching by "Manufacturer"

I've had a few emails saying that most people prefer to search/browse a specific part rather than by manufacturer. . .

I have shortened the museum listings greatly, so it's no so tedious to navigate through those long lists.
I've also reduced the "Stickers" down to a handful of alphabetical ranges,
Once again, eliminating tedious browsing for you guys ;-)

APR 2005 - REFRESH . . .
Don't forget to "refresh" your browser, you might be missing out on some extra menu
features and additions to the site, as i'm often updating the site at the moment. ;-)

MAR 2005 - NEW SITE . . .
After having *many* problems with my internet provider blocking my ip numbers &
preventing you guys from logging onto my private (home server) bmx site, i've finally got
a .com domain registered for the site.
The site should now be online 24/7, with a whole new look, and additional features.

If you are reading this news, then you've obviously found "retro-riders.com",
the new home of my online bmx museum and where oldschool riders can meet'n'ride.
